

From December 15 to 20, at the invitation of James Cook University and Queensland University of Technology in Australia, as well as University of Auckland and International College of Auckland in New Zealand, a delegation of five people led by Niu Xiaoyu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of AYNU, visited Australia and New Zealand.
During their stay in Australia, Niu Xiaoyu and his team held talks with heads of International Office and Student Development Center of James Cook University on "4+0" cooperative education program in Computer Science and Technology and "3+2" undergraduate and postgraduate program. Both sides agreed to sign a framework cooperation agreement. The delegation had in-depth discussions with Professor Kou Liangzhi from School of Mechanical, Medical and Technological Engineering of Queensland University of Technology and others on jointly applying for Henan Province High-level Foreign Experts Introduction Program, building Henan Province International Joint Laboratory, and forming a scientific research team, etc.
During their stay in New Zealand, the delegation visited University of Auckland and International College of Auckland and held talks with heads of International Exchange Office and School of Engineering and Design of University of Auckland on matters such as scientific research cooperation and exchanges between teachers and students, and held a discussion with representatives of Chinese students studying abroad to explain the policies for introducing outstanding overseas talents. A discussion was also held with Zhu Zhaoxin, executive dean of International College of Auckland on projects such as teacher training and student exchanges, and multiple cooperation consensuses were reached.
