On November 3, A four-member delegation from University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP), USA, led by Dr. Thomas Tyner, vice chancellor for International Affairs, and Ms. Kelly Brennan, vice chancellor for Enrollment Management, paid a visit to AYNU for exchange. Bai Yan, vice president of AYNU, held a meeting with the guests. Staff from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office attended the meeting.

During the talks, Bai Yan extended warm welcome to Dr. Thomas Tyner, Ms. Kelly Brennan, and their delegation. She provided a brief introduction to AYNU, covering its history, distinctive characteristics, and international development strategies. Dr. Thomas Tyner highlighted the educational features and internationalization strategies of UNCP. The two parties signed a framework cooperation agreement and engaged in in-depth discussions on issues including the program establishment, curriculum alignment, and application procedures for the proposed cooperative education project. Multiple consensuses were reached, and a timeline for next steps along with a communication mechanism were established.

Prior to the meeting, the UNCP delegation visited AYNU's History Museum, Chinese Character Culture Experience Center, and related teaching and research facilities.
