Recently, the 2024 winter camp ofChinese Character Experiencefor foreign teachers and students was successfully completed. The camp lasted four days and 27 international teachers and students from Canada, Japan, Korea, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam and Mongolia participated in it.
During the winter camp, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office organized the international teachers and students to carry out Chinese character culture experience activities with rich contents and various forms. Inside the school, the international teachers and students visited the Chinese Character and Culture Experience Center, the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education of Oracle and Oracle Museum, experienced the Chinese Character Writing Course, learned the Oracle Radio Gymnastics. Outside the school, the international teachers and students went to the Chinese Character Museum, Yinxu Museum, Red Flag Canal, and YouliCity to carry out cultural experience and exchange. The distinctive characteristics of the school's oracle-bone research and the thick historical and cultural heritage of Anyang left a deep impression and unforgettable memories for the international teachers and students. The international teachers and students expressed that they would share the Chinese stories they heard, Henan culture they felt and Anyang food they tasted during the camp with their friends from all over the world, so that more friends would know and love China.
Chinese Character ExperienceSummer and Winter Camp for foreign teachers and students is one of our university’s approved programs of the International Chinese Education Practice and Research Base in Henan Province in 2024. It aims to tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese voices through a series of Chinese character cultural experience activities, so that foreign teachers and students can better understand the profundity of Chinese character culture and the long history of Chinese civilization, and promote Chinese culture to the world.
