On the morning of June 9,Encounter HenanSummer Camp 2026 for teachers and students from Hong Kong and Macao was held at AYNU. The event was hosted by the Department of Education of Henan Province, organized by Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, and co-organized by AYNU. A total of 22 teacher and student representatives from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Lingnan University (Hong Kong), and City University of Macao participated in the event.
The delegation visited Chinese Character Cultural Experience Hall in AYNU. Following the development of Chinese writing, they learned about the oracle bone inscriptions and the evolution of scripts throughout history. They also took part in immersive activities such as oracle bone rubbing, performances on ancient musical instruments, and traditional archery rituals, gaining a close experience of the millennia-old heritage of Chinese writing. With Chinese characters as a bridge, this academic and cultural exchange further deepens the sense of cultural affinity rooted in a shared heritage.
