Recently, 19 students from AYNU arrived at Gyeongsang National University (GNU) in South Korea, officially commencing their exchange studies for either one semester or a full academic year. This marks a significant step forward in AYNU’s efforts to promote overseas exchange programs for students.
In April of this year, Gyeongsang National University visited our university, and the two parties signed a framework cooperation agreement along with an inter-university student exchange program agreement. Following project promotions, applications, interviews, and a selection process, 19 students from 15 different colleges were finally chosen to participate in the exchange program.
According to the agreement, the students will take specialized courses under the guidance of the international offices and relevant academic departments of both universities. Upon their return, they will have their credits transferred in accordance with relevant procedures. Additionally, the involved colleges have established a one-on-one communication mechanism to ensure the students’ safety and academic success during their exchange.
Student exchange programs are a key indicator of high-level internationalization in education. AYNU has always regarded such programs as an important pathway to cultivate global talent. By offering special scholarships and implementing credit recognition policies, we provide solid support for students to pursue overseas studies.
In the next phase, AYNU will launch multiple inter-university cooperation programs with other renowned overseas institutions, aiming to promote student exchanges at all levels and in various forms, thereby nurturing more high-quality talents with a global perspective.
