

On April 2, a three-member delegation led by Ms. Chen Wenting, Director of affairs in China at Coventry University, UK, visited AYNU. The entire staff of International Cooperation and Exchange Office attended the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, Vice President Sun Jinwei of AYNU warmly received Ms. Chen Wenting and her delegation, expressing hopes for multi-level and multi-channel collaboration between the two universities in areas such as joint education programs, scientific research cooperation, and faculty-student exchanges. Ms. Chen emphasized Coventry University’s strong commitment to partnering with Chinese universities and expressed willingness to promote comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between the two universities.
During the meeting, Zhang Chengwei, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, provided a brief introduction to AYNU, covering its historical development, educational features, and internationalization efforts. Ms. Chen then outlined Coventry University’s distinctive strengths and academic advantages. Subsequently, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on joint programs such as "3+1" dual bachelor’s degrees, bachelor’s-to-master’s pathways, and "1+1+1" dual master’s degrees, reaching preliminary cooperation agreements and laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
Coventry University, a public research institution, traces its origins to the Coventry College of Design established in 1843. It is ranked 526th in the 2025 QS World University Rankings and is renowned for its internationalized education, currently hosting over 13,000 international students.
