On the morning of June 18, the international students summer camp from Zhengzhou University of Light Industry visited our university to explore Chinese character culture.
In Oracle Bone Inscriptions Exhibition Hall at our university, more than 20 international students from such countries as Spain, Korea, Poland, Thailand, etc, were deeply impressed by oracle bone inscriptions with seeing living data-empowered Oracle Bone Inscriptions with their own eyes, listening to the stories given by scientific researchers with their own ears, and touching the mysterious languages on oracle bones with their hands. In Chinese Character Culture Experience Hall, international students not only learned about the origin and evolution of Chinese characters through detailed explanations by the guide, but also personally experienced experiential projects such as surname rubbings, percussion of ancient musical instruments, archery, divination, etc., savoring the profound and extensive Chinese character culture through fun interactions.
Chinese characters are not only treasures of Chinese culture, but also bridges connecting different cultures and ethnic groups. Through this activity, international students from different countries have gained a deep understanding of the history and cultural connotations of Chinese characters, and experienced the profoundness and unique charm of Chinese culture.
