On February 20, Prof. Wang Dong, Vice President of China-Korea Institute of Culture and Art Exchange and Director of International Exchange Office ofTongmyong University, South Korea, visited AYNU for exchange. President Kong Guoqing met with Prof. Wang Dong, Vice President Du Jimin had a discussion with Prof. Wang Dong in C502 conference room of Qinye Building, and all the staff of International Cooperation and Exchange Office attended the meeting.

On behalf of AYNU, Kong Guoqing welcomed the visit of Wang Dong and his delegation, and hoped that the two universities would carry out multi-level and multi-channel exchanges and cooperation in the areas of cooperation in school running, student exchange and teachers' visit. Wang Dong said that he would do his best to promote the two schools to carry out high-quality cooperation and exchanges.

At the meeting, Du Jimin briefly introduced the basic situation of AYNU in terms of history, schooling level, schooling characteristics, internationalization development, etc. Wang Dong briefly introduced the internationalization ofTongmyong University, South Korea. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the details of the professional setting, enrollment scale, tuition standards, teacher selection and other details of the overseas school-running project, and reached a number of consensus, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the next project.

Tongmyong University, founded in 1977, is located in Busan, the second largest city and the first port in South Korea, and is a comprehensive institution of higher education with a high degree of internationalization. The university has set up the international university department (BIC), which has enrolled more than 1,400 foreign students from 25 countries, and provides bilingual teaching in Korean and English.
